dash code of conduct

By volunteering at Dash, you are expected to respect everyone in our organization regardless of their gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability or other aspects related to appearance, origin, or identity.

We do not accept any kind of disrespectful behavior in any of our events or at volunteering related activities or occasions. Dash is meant to be a positive experience from the beginning to the end for all attendees, volunteers, and other contributors.

Disrespectful behavior includes, but is not limited to:‍‍‍

  • Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age or religion.
  • Deliberate intimidation.
  • Sustained disruption of talking.
  • Unsolicited physical contact.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviors.

Anyone violating these rules may be expelled from Dash at the discretion of the Dash team.
